- Starting Aug 2017
- Application by email to Mark.Edwards2@uhs.nhs.uk by 16th April 2017 with a CV and covering letter
This role is 75% clinical time in Intensive Care Medicine (ICM) and 25% paid time to support quality improvement work though SPARC. It will last 9 or 15 months depending on your requirements. It is a great opportunity to support SPARC projects, undertake your own research, and collaborate with local academics in writing articles for publication. Based within the Academic Department of Critical Care in Portsmouth or in the General Intensive Care unit in Southampton you would be paid to:
- Support and undertake SPARC projects.
- Gain invaluable additional experience of intensive care medicine.
- Further your research CV with opportunities to contribute to peer-reviewed articles and recruit patients to ongoing clinical trials.
The role is primarily aimed at ST3+ dual ICM/Anaesthetic trainees on Wessex rotations, but if you are interested and you are an ST3+ anaesthetic trainee or a CT2 who expects to complete basic training by August then please get in touch because it may well be that we can modify the fellowship to fit your requirements.
