PEACH-SW

The Provision of Enhanced And Critical Care for Higher Risk Patients in the South-West (PEACH-SW) is a regional project aiming to better understand the enhanced and critical care needs patients in the South-West.

It will aim to collect perioperative data on every patient undergoing surgery with the planned need for a post-operative critical care bed (excluding Cardiac, Obstetric or Paediatric surgery).

Furthermore, it will collect data on how critical care capacity influences the ability to admit both elective  and emergency patients each day during the study window.

Data collection is planned for the week beginning 6th November 2023.
